We don’t do a lot of sampling in Spinal Tap, but he can do lots of things. Last week he said to me, ‘Watch this, Dave.’ He loaded up some computer software and pressed a key and you could hear, quite clearly, the sound of a cat vomiting. You could see, in your mind, what sort of cat it was." Nigel: "Before he joined us, he was playing in a black group where there were a bunch of other Jeffs." (PP)
