Squatney District: The East London neighborhood where young David and young Nigel first met. Their bedroom windows were adjacent to each other; David lived in flat 45 and Nigel in flat 47. A nearby pub, then the Queens Lips (previously the Bun & Puffy and the Restless Cheese and now The Gun) was a popular hangout. On nearby Squatney Road, the studio where Nigel and David recorded "All the Way Home" on 14 December 1961, had been torn down and a commemorative plaque removed by the time the boys visited for their 1992 TV special.
